The programme is delivered by John Allen of Bluewire Hub. John has been a practising DEA since 2013 and brings a background in senior operational and compliance roles across the energy and retrofit sector. As ECO Project Manager he led a £6.5 million ECO programme, taking audit compliance from 40% to 90% within two months. As Operations and Compliance Manager he led multi-discipline teams delivering renewable technologies and energy efficiency measures for housing associations, local authorities, and commercial clients. He also holds a Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management and a Level 3 CAVA qualification, has delivered DEA and retrofit assessor training since 2023, written training material for SAVA, and presented at the SAVA Expo.
