1. Your Obligations
1.1 You agree to ensure that the information that you supply to us in the Order including without limitation details of the Property is complete, accurate and up to date. You will notify us immediately you become aware of any inaccuracy contained within the Order.
1.2 You agree that any order that we may deliver to you is delivered on the understanding that it is only for your use and for the purpose that you have disclosed to us.
1.3 Pre-arranged appointments with the assessor are taken on the understanding that an Adult, someone over the age of 18, will be present at the appointment time, or we are given consent to access the property by the owner or appointed agents using a key. If the assessor is unable to obtain access to the premises 15 minutes after the appointment time, then they will leave and you will have to rebook the appointment.
2.1 We cannot accept any liability for any error in an EPC which is based on any error or inaccuracy in a public register. Nor will we be liable for any information contained within an EPC which is based on information that we have obtained from a third party (not being information derived from the public register).
2.2 We cannot accept any responsibility for any inaccuracy or error in the EPC that is based on incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by you.
2.3 Subject to any other provisions in these Conditions, we will not be liable to you for any loss, damages, costs or expenses caused directly or indirectly by a delay in delivery to you (even if caused by our negligence).
2.4 We will not be liable for any loss of actual or anticipated profits or savings, loss of business, loss of opportunity or for any special, indirect or consequential loss whether arising from a breach of these Conditions or negligence in performing the Services even if we were advised of or knew of likelihood of such loss occurring.
2.5 Our entire aggregate liability to you for direct loss arising from our being in breach of these Conditions or negligent in the course of performing the Services will not exceed the cost of the Service.
3.1 All prices are VAT exempt unless stated.
3.2 Payment is due from you on completion of the service provided by the allocated assessor.
3.3 We do not send payment receipts or booking confirmations by post. An invoice will be emailed to you on completion of the service.
3.4 The method of payment will be as agreed between us.
3.5 If your Instruction is made under false pretence an additional fee may be due and the survey will not be issued until we receive receipt of said additional fee.
3.6 Any non standard construction properties or those over 3,000 square feet of total habitable area may incur additional costs, these will be confirmed and agreed with you at the time of booking.
3.7 If our surveyors attend a confirmed booking and are unable to gain access to the property a missed appointment fee of £25 will be charged plus an administration fee of £10 to rebook the appointment.
3.8 If a booking is changed within 24 hours of the appointment time by the client Bluewire Hub reserves the right to charge a £10 re booking fee.
3.9 All invoices are payable within 7 Days of the date of issue. Late payments will incur interest at 8%, plus the advertised Bank of England base rate on the date the invoice becomes overdue, of the total outstanding invoice value plus an administration fee of £40.
4.1 Should you wish to cancel or re-schedule an order, you agree to give us as much notice as is reasonably practicable. However, you may still be charged if you cancel the appointment on the day.
If you want to make a complaint, we will deal with it speedily and fairly.
Acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days of receipt
Try and resolve your complaint fully within 4 weeks of receipt
If there are valid reasons for consideration of the complaint taking longer, we will keep you fully informed in writing or via telephone or email as you prefer and you will receive a response at the very latest within 8 weeks.
Liaise with counselling organisations acting on your behalf, if you ask us to.
Send you a final decision on the complaint in writing.
