Launchpad Terms and Conditions

DEA Launchpad: Zero to Working Assessor — Programme Terms and Conditions

Bluewire Hub · Effective January 2026

These terms and conditions apply to all participants enrolled in the DEA Launchpad: Zero to Working Assessor programme, delivered by John Allen of Bluewire Hub. By ticking the box below, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. What This Programme Is

DEA Launchpad is a four-week online group mentoring programme for newly qualified Domestic Energy Assessors. It covers business development, professional practice, client acquisition, pricing, and building sustainable working habits.

The programme is not a qualification, not a regulated training course, and does not confer any accreditation. It is a structured mentoring and professional development programme delivered by an experienced practitioner.

On successful completion, participants receive a CPD certificate with verifiable learning outcomes. This certificate can be used to support your annual CPD requirements, but acceptance of CPD certificates is at the discretion of your individual accreditation scheme.

2. Results and Effort

The DEA Launchpad provides frameworks, guidance, and practical tools based on real-world experience. It does not guarantee any specific outcome, including income levels, number of clients, or business success.

The results you achieve depend on your own effort, commitment, and circumstances. Participants who engage fully with sessions, complete the work between sessions, and apply what they learn are best placed to benefit from the programme.

In short: you get out what you put in.

3. Payment

Full payment is required at the point of enrolment to secure your place. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Your place is not confirmed until payment has been received.

Prices are as published on the Bluewire Hub website at the time of enrolment. Each cohort may be priced differently. The price displayed at enrolment is the price you pay.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

The following cancellation policy applies:

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before the cohort start date: full refund.
  • Cancellation within 14 days of the cohort start date: no refund. A transfer to a future cohort may be offered at the sole discretion of Bluewire Hub.
  • Once any session has been attended: no refund. The programme has been delivered and the place cannot be reused.

To request a cancellation, contact us with your name and cohort dates. Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 10 working days.

5. What Is Included

Your enrolment includes:

  • Four live online group sessions (Session 1: 90 minutes; Sessions 2–4: 60 minutes each).
  • Access to a cohort WhatsApp group for questions and peer support between sessions.
  • Downloadable resources and checklists for each session.
  • A CPD certificate on completion, subject to attendance and engagement requirements.

One-to-one mentoring, site visit support, and additional services are not included and are available separately.

6. What We Expect from Participants

To get the most from the programme and to maintain a positive group environment, participants are expected to:

  • Attend sessions on time and participate actively.
  • Treat other participants with respect at all times.
  • Keep what is shared within the cohort confidential (see Section 7).
  • Engage with the between-session work to the best of their ability.

7. Confidentiality

What participants share within the group — including business situations, challenges, and personal circumstances — is shared in confidence. Participants agree not to repeat or disclose information shared by other cohort members outside of the group.

This obligation applies to all members of the cohort equally, including the programme facilitator.

8. Programme Materials and Intellectual Property

All session materials, handouts, checklists, and resources provided as part of the programme are the intellectual property of Bluewire Hub and John Allen.

Materials are provided for your personal professional development only. They may not be shared, reproduced, resold, or used as the basis for any competing programme or training product without prior written consent from Bluewire Hub.

9. Limitation of Liability

The programme is delivered in good faith based on the facilitator’s professional experience and knowledge as a practising Domestic Energy Assessor since 2013.

Bluewire Hub accepts no liability for any business decisions you make as a result of participating in the programme, for any loss of income or opportunity, or for any outcomes arising from the application (or non-application) of the content covered.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by negligence, as required by law.

10. Changes to the Programme

Bluewire Hub reserves the right to make reasonable changes to session content, delivery format, or scheduling where necessary. Participants will be given as much notice as possible of any such changes.

In the unlikely event that a cohort cannot proceed as planned, participants will be offered a transfer to a future cohort or a full refund.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
